Below is a diagram of the dimensions of the electrical wall box
that is shipped with an RGB 324 or RGB 326. If you use a
different wall box, use its measurements when planning the
installation.
Outside width of box
= 3.75" (9.5 cm)
Outside depth
= 3.5 " (8.9 cm)
Inside depth
= 3.4 " (8.6 cm)
Hole spacing =
1.8" (4.6 cm)
Whether you use the electrical wall box supplied with the
buffer, another wall box, or
no box, allow enough depth
in the installation space to
accommodate the bend
radius of the cable. The bend
radius is usually at least ten
times the diameter of the
outer cable jacket, but it
varies with the type of cable.
The cable should be
bent in a smooth
arc and never
kinked. If the cable
is bent too sharply or kinked, the cable characteristics
will change, and performance may decrease.
