    Technician notes Warnings, cautions, and notes WARNING: Only authorized technicians trained by Hewlett Packard Enterprise should attempt to repair this equipment. All troubleshooting and repair procedures are detailed to allow only subassembly/module-level repair. Because of the complexity of the individual boards and subassemblies, no one should attempt to make repairs at the component level or to make modifications to any printed wiring board.

    "UTP cable specifications." LEDs The Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 561T Adapter has two ports with LEDs for Link (L) and Activity (A) for each port. A standard-height bracket is shown in the following illustration with ports and LEDs.

    NOTE: Before removing the cover of your server, refer to the HPE documentation for the proper methods for installing a PCI Express card and avoiding electric shock hazards.

    5. Firmly seat the adapter in the PCI Express slot. NOTE: For 1U type servers, you might need to replace the standard profile bracket with a low profile bracket. See "Installing a low profile bracket." 6. Install the access panel, and then connect the power cord.     Specifications UTP cable specifications The Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 561T Adapter can deliver 10 gigabit Ethernet over an existing UTP Cat 6 copper cable, or better, according to the IEEE 802.3an specifications. Hewlett Packard Enterprise recommends Cat 6A cable for new installations.
