Changing the operating style

Your CLIÉ handheld can be used with the display panel set in three
different styles:
– the convienient "opened style"
– the compact "turned style"
– the screen-guarding "carrying style."
Opened style
When using the CLIÉ handheld, set it to either the "opened style" (to
enter data with the hardware keyboard) or the "turned style" (to enter
data with the stylus), whichever you prefer.
In this and other supplied manuals, the operation steps will usually be
described with the CLIÉ handheld in the "turned style."
When carrying your CLIÉ handheld around in your bag or pocket, set
it to the "carrying style." You cannot enter data, but will be able to
continue listening to music, operating with the remote controller.
Notes
• The display panel in the "opened style" will not open wider than 160 degrees.
• When you have a camera module inserted in your CLIÉ handheld's Memory
Stick slot, take care not to hit the module when opening the display panel.
