Settings

In the Home screen, touch the Applications
tab then scroll and touch Settings.
Wireless & networks
Here, you can manage Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
You can also set up mobile networks and
switch to airplane mode.
Airplane mode – After switching to airplane
mode, all wireless connections are disabled.
Wi-Fi – Turns on Wi-Fi to connect to
available Wi-Fi networks.
Wi-Fi settings – Allows you to set up and
manage wireless access points. Set network
notification or add a Wi-Fi network. The
advanced Wi-Fi settings screen is accessed
from the Wi-Fi settings screen. Press the
Menu key and touch Advanced.
Bluetooth – Turn the Bluetooth wireless
feature on or off.
Bluetooth settings
- D evice name: Set a Bluetooth name for
your device.
- D iscoverable: Set your device to be
visible to other Bluetooth devices.
- S can for devices: Set your device
to search for other bluetooth enabled
devices.
NOTE:
Press Menu to change the Contact
transfer setting.
• S end as one file: Send contacts as
a nested vCard. This may reduce
transfer time, but old devices may
not support this mode on receiving
contacts.
• S end separately: Send each contact as
a single vCard. When old devices can
not receive all contacts, choose this.
Portable hotspot – You can configure the
portable Wi-Fi hotspot settings.
VPN settings – Displays the list of Virtual
Private Networks (VPNs) that you've
previously configured. Allows you to add
different types of VPN.
Mobile networks – Set options for data
roaming, network mode & operators, access
point names (APNs) and so on.
On-Screen Phone settings – Select to
change the On-Screen Phone password.
