Heave Compensation Options If there is a heave sensor attached to the 320N, either via the serial ports and the network interface, the user can selected which compensation options are most suitable to his application. The user should be aware that if the digitized depth or the echogram are compensated, they will not be indicating the true depth under the keel but a compensated one which may be misleading to the operator. -
