9 Addendum

9.1 Error Codes

The following table shows the error codes. See "Error fixing – Status: Error":

9.2 Modem Configuration

You must configure the modem before it is connected to MR00xFA or MR00xDL. Please use a
terminal software of your choice, e.g. the Windows HyperTerminal and connect the PC to the
modem. Choose 9600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity and one stopbit. Then input the following
commands and activate each with the "Enter" key:

AT\Q0 or AT&K0
AT\J0
AT&W0
AT&W1
These commands are examples, which will work with several, but not all modems on the market.
Please study the manual of your individual modem to find out whether you need to use modified
commands.
After configuration please connect the modem to the MR00xFA/DL using the cable delivered
with the modem and plug it into the DSUB labelled with "MODEM".
