Installation and repairs should be done by an authorized gas fireplace service technician.
The appliance should be inspected before use and at least annually by a professional. More
frequent cleaning may be required due to excessive lint from carpeting, bedding material,
etc. It is imperative that control compartments, burners and circulating air passageways of
the fireplace are kept clean.

    C-View Custom Fireplace Installation Section 8: Electrical Connections Installing the Control Panel MCP1-FIREPIT The control panel should be installed in a location that is accessible for start up and future service. The inverter may sometimes produce a whining sound, this should be considered when selecting the panel location. Should the noise from the panel be a concern, we recommend that the box containing the panel be lined with a sound proofing material.

    Custom C-View Fireplace Installation Section 9: Installing the Gas Line The gas connection is located on the underside of the firepit body. The manufacturer requires a service shut off valve lo- cated in an accessible location to isolate the fireplace’s gas supply. We reccommend placing this behind your intake grate for easy access.The gas line must be installed, and tested for leaks before finishing the Custom Firepit.

    Installation Section 10: Installing the Burner Accessories Installing the Firestones The Montigo Custom Firepit with Concealed Burner is supplied with firestone glass media. Place the firestones randomly across the pan and the burners as described in Figure 14 to 14d.

    1. The firepit control panel comes pre-wired to the fireplace and all internal components. If the cables that connect the panel to the fireplace need to be disconnected in order to be run inside of a conduit or raceway, follow the attached schematic to re-connect the wiring.
