SECTION 4: When to recommend REVITIVE

Ask and observe

Spotting the signs of poor circulation is easier than you think and more than likely you already
know them! Here are some simple questions and observations you can make to help you
determine if the customer may suffer from poor circulation.
ASK -
Do any of the following apply to you:
Tired, aching or heavy feeling legs
Cramp, or stabbing pain in the feet or legs
OsteoArthritis
Diabetes
Poor mobility
COPD
Had or about to have surgery eg knee/hip
replacement
Prolonged sitting or standing
Sedentary lifestyle
While engaging your customer if they answer "Yes" to any of the above, you can
conclude that they may suffer from poor circulation and should consider taking steps to
actively increase their circulation, by using a device like REVITIVE.

OBSERVE -

Contraindications

For safety precautions there are a few people who cannot use REVITIVE:
1
People who are fitted with an electronic implanted device such as a heart
pacemaker or Automatic Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (AICD)
2
People being treated for, or have symtoms of, an existing Deep Vein
Thrombosis (DVT)
3
During pregnancy
Staff should refer customers to the pharmacist or their doctor if they are
requesting detailed treatment advice.
SECTION 5: Frequently asked questions
What does using REVITIVE feel like?
REVITIVE uses Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) which applies stimulation to the
soles of bare feet. EMS gently contracts and relaxes the muscles in the calves and you
experience a tingling (which can feel like "pins & needles") which soothes and relieves
the pain and discomfort from poor circulation.
How often should REVITIVE be used?
We recommend using
REVITIVE
for 20-30 minutes a day as part of a daily routine.
REVITIVE can be used whilst watching TV, working at the computer or just having a
cup of tea. Then just sit back, relax and let REVITIVE go to work.
We recommend using
REVITIVE ARTHRITIS KNEE PADS
week. Eg Monday - Friday.
