Introduction Introduction The Outdoor Insect Killer utilizes ultra-violet rays (the black light of the wave length), which is proven to be the most effective lure for light sensitive flying insects, such as flies, moths, mosquitoes, etc. These insects are eliminated by the high voltage inner grid. -

Maintenance Changing bulbs This unit uses a 4 prong, 18 Watt UV bulb. It is recommended that the bulb be replaced annually to maintain optimal UV effectiveness. 1. Unplug and remove entire unit from hanging position. 2. Turn the unit upside down, unscrew the bug collection tray. - Page 8 Maintenance Cleaning As the unit kills insects, most of the insect debris will fall into the bug collection tray. Some debris will be left on the grids and over time will reduce the effectiveness of this device. Make sure to regularly clean the grid to achieve maximum effectiveness.
