Mounting Procedure
Follow the steps below to attach the IP3NA-BCH ADAPTER( ) to the bottom-unit connector on the back
of the multifunctional telephone. If the telephone is furnished with various cables, remove these cables
first.
・Only one IP3NA-BCH ADAPTER( ) can be mounted per telephone.
Caution
・The IP3NA-BCH ADAPTER( ) cannot be mounted on the economy multifunctional telephone (IP3NA-
2TH TEL(BK)) and the cordless terminal (IP3NA-12TXH(BT) TEL(BK)).

Turn over the telephone.

Lower the tilt legs to the first level.

Release lugs a and b on the stopper
from grooves A and B in the tilt legs
and widen the tilt legs.

Remove the connector cover (rubber)
from the bottom unit connector.

Position the IP3NA-BCH ADAPTER( )
with its lower claws, and then attach it
to the telephone connector while push-
ing the right and left claws.
The upper claw clicks.

Replace the tilt legs in original position.
The installation of the IP3NA-BCH ADAPTER( ) is complete.
Removing the IP3NA-BCH ADAPTER( )
Lift the IP3NA-BCH ADAPTER( ) from the upper claw while pressing the upper claw and the right and left
claws.

Pairing a Bluetooth
Device with a Multifunctional Telephone with Each Other
®
Invoke the Bluetooth
screen from a multifunctional telephone menu and register the Bluetooth
set with the IP3NA-BCH ADAPTER( ).
For more details on working with the menu, refer to the user's guide or other documentation that comes
with your system.

Invoke the Bluetooth
screen in one of the following methods:
Digital multifunctional telephone
・ If the IP3NA-BCH ADAPTER( ) is connected to an Aspire X:
Press menu keys > [5. Optional Devices] > [1. Bluetooth].
・ If the IP3NA-BCH ADAPTER( ) is connected to a PBX (other than Aspire X):
Press menu keys > [3. Setup] > [5. Optional Devices] > [1. Bluetooth].
<Entering a PIN Code>

In pairing a Bluetooth
device having a PIN Code other than 0000, enter a string of 4 to 16 digits to suit
that device.

Up to 8 Bluetooth
devices located around the IP3NA-BCH ADAPTER( ) are located, among which
select a device want to pair with the device.
It takes approximately one
minute for locating.
<Connecting to the Paired Device>

Enable the Bluetooth
device. Select [2. Enable] in the connection screen.

After pairing a Bluetooth
device, be sure to configure its connection to enable it. If connected setting is

device that does the pairing cannot be used.
