SpringWell whole house water filters use the highest
quality of coconut catalytic carbon that target the
contaminants that we find in our water supplies today.
Our systems are manufactured in an up-flow design
giving the influent water optimal contact time so we can
reduce as many contaminants as possible. Our catalytic
carbons have an extremely fast reaction time which
means more contaminant removal, even in a high flow
installation.

Carbon Rinse After the carbon has soaked for 2 days take the bypass valve out of bypass into the service mode. Locate the hose bib assembly and connect it to the Inlet side. Connect a water hose to the opposite end of the hose bib assembly. Turn the water on slowly and only halfway on and allow the water to run for 15-20 minutes. ... - Page 6 Pre-Filter Setup / Installation This is the point where you will need to shut the main water supply off and adapt your plumbing in and through the system. We recommend you plumb a shut off valve before the pre-filter housing. Locate the area where the system is going to be installed.
- Page 7 Now connect the pre-filter housing head to the mounting bracket with the hex bolts provided. Plumb the water from the main water supply into the Inlet side of the pre-filter head (follow the arrows for water flow). Install lubed o-ring in groove on top of the blue pre-filter housing.
- Page 8 Carbon Filter Install Plumb the main water supply coming out of the pre-filter housing into the Inlet side. Now finish the plumbing by connecting the Outlet side back to the main plumbing supply. Place the bypass valve in bypass. (Example using SharkBite Fittings)

Complete Install Once the plumbing is complete its time to start the system up. Double check all connections. The valve nuts should only be hand tight. Slowly turn the main water supply back on. Check for leaks. If there are no leaks slowly turn the bypass valve to the on position. -
