Installing the battery pack

Open the battery cover.
Open the cover while sliding the OPEN switch in the direction of the arrow.

Install the battery pack.
Slide the battery eject lever downward and insert the battery pack with the v
mark facing toward the battery compartment as illustrated.

Close the battery cover.
To remove the battery pack
Open the battery cover. Slide the battery eject lever downward, and remove
the battery pack.
Be careful not to drop the battery pack when removing it.
Battery remaining indicator
The LCD screen on the camera shows the remaining time for which you can still
record or play back images.
This indication may not be entirely accurate depending on the conditions of use and
the operating environment.
Auto power-off function
If you do not operate the camera for about three minutes during recording, the camera
turns off automatically to prevent wearing down the battery. To use the camera again,
slide the POWER switch to turn on the camera again.
