CHARGING EXTERNAL USB DEVICES
(SEE FIGURE 3)
You can use the USB ports on the battery
controller to increase the battery runtime of
various battery-operated USB devices, e.g.
mobile phone, MP3 player or tablet PC.
Ensure that your external USB device can be
charged using the USB port on the battery
controller.
Do not connect any device
that is not compatible with
5VDC, 2.4A power source to the USB port
WARNING
on the battery controller. Charging of non-
compatible devices may create a risk of battery
controller malfunction.
1. Plug the charging cable of your USB
device into the USB port on the battery
controller.
2. Press the On button for activation of
battery controller. The On button lights up.
If no charger cable is connected, the USB
ports are automatically disabled after 30
seconds. The On button light goes out.
The USB ports are disabled automatically to
save power when no power is being used
from the USB port.
CONNECTING THE
HEATING ELEMENT POWER CABLE
(SEE FIGURE 4)
Connect
heated jacket heating
WARNING
element power cable to the heating
element power port of the battery
controller. Connecting any other device may
create a risk of fire or personal injury.
1. Plug the heating element power cable into
the heating element power port of the
battery controller.
2. Press the On button for activation of
battery controller. The On button lights.
3. Press the power button and heat level
controller of the heated jacket once for
each heat level.
4. Slide the battery controller into the pocket
provided in the garment or hang the
battery controller on your belt using the belt
clip.
