PERSONAL SAFETY
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and
use common sense when using the battery
controller. Do not use while you are tired or
under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication. A moment of inattention may
result in serious personal injury.
Do not expose battery controller to rain or
wet conditions. Battery controller is not
waterproof. Water will increase the risk of
electric shock.
Do not use battery controller with
uninterrupted power sources (e.g. 12VDC
automotive outlets, automotive charger.
Use of uninterrupted power sources may
create a risk of battery controller malfunctions,
injury and fire.
Do not plug power source to USB port or
heating element power port on the battery
controller. The battery controller is not
designed as a charger to charge the battery
pack. Charging the battery pack through the
battery controller create a risk of injury and fire.
PRODUCT USE AND CARE
Disconnect the battery pack from the
battery controller when not in use. Such
preventative safety measures reduce the risk of
injury.
Store out of reach of children and do not
allow persons unfamiliar with these
instructions to use battery controller.
Battery controller misuse can result in personal
injury and property damage hazards.
SAFETY RULES FOR BATTERY CONTROLLER
Use only with bosch recommended battery
packs. Use of any other battery packs may
create a risk of jacket malfunctions, injury and fire.
Disconnect battery when not in use or when
battery is moist or wet. Moisture could
damage the battery pack and create a risk of
fire.
GENERAL PRODUCT SAFETY WARNINGS
Periodically check battery controller for
wear and damage to parts. If damage or
excessive wear is discovered, have the battery
controller repaired before use.
BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
Recharge only with the charger specified by
the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable
for one type of battery pack may create a risk of
fire when used with another battery pack.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it
away from other metal objects like paper
clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other
small objects that can make a connection
from one terminal to another. Shorting the
battery terminals together may cause burns or
a fire.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be
ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If
contact accidentally occurs, flush with
water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally
seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the
battery may cause irritation or burns.
If battery release tabs are cracked or
otherwise damaged, do not insert into tool.
Battery can fall out during operation.
SERVICE
Have your battery controller serviced by a
qualified Bosch repair person using only
identical replacement parts. This will ensure
that the safety of the battery controller is
maintained.
Disconnect and remove battery pack and
battery controller from Bosch heated jacket
pocket before washing. Wetting of the battery
pack and battery controller can result in product
damage, injury or fire.
