indicates that another digit can be entered, to select program 11-15.

PaNel loCK

The PANEL LOCK feature is found at the far left of the
panel and will – when engaged – protect the panel con-
trols from unwanted interaction. The button needs to be
pressed down for one second, as indicated by the "6"
symbol, in order to turn the function on or off.
To allow for program changes even with Panel lock active, the Program
dial is not affected by this function. also, the Program 1-5 and live
Mode buttons can still be used, but need to be pressed down for one
second to have effect.

orGaNIZe

The ORGANIZE (shift + Program 4) view allows for moving or "swapping"
programs within the program banks.

a swap operation interchanges the positions of two programs.

Use the dial to select the program location which should be
swapped with another and press Swap.

Note that programs between the source and destination locations
are shifted one step up or down, changing which programs are
part of each page within the affected range.

Programs can also be organized using the Nord Sound Manager.

MIdI led INdICaTor

The MIDI led, located below the Master level dial, blinks as
incoming MIdI messages are received by the MIdI In port, or
over the UsB connection.

PaNIC

If hanging notes are experienced when using the Nord
Grand in a MIdI setup, or if all sound should be termi-
nated for other reasons, use the PANIC (shift + Program
5) function. This will execute an internal "all Notes off"
message, and reset incoming MIdI CC messages.
