6. DVD FUNCTIONS

Region Code 2
As is it usual for DVD movies to be released at different times in different regions of the world, all players have
region codes and dics can have an optional region code. If you load a disc of a different region code into your
player, you will see the region code notice on the screen. The disc cannot ne played and must be ejected.
The region code for this player is 2.
NOTE: In Setup mode, the following functions will be cancelled or paused:
TITLE, SUB-T, DISPLAY, PLAY, STOP, SLOW STEP, NICAM/AUDIO, FF, RF, GOTO,
ZOOM, ANGLE, PROG, REPEAT, REPEAT A-B

6.1. System Setup

6.1.1. TV System
This menu enables you to set the picture format for your DVD
NTSC: This format is used by some countries, eg. USA
PAL: This is the format used for example in Australia & New Zealand, and it is the default setting
AUTO: This format can be used if your DVD is capable of both PAL and NTSC formats
NOTE: Check your TV user guide for supported format.
• Press DVD SETUP button to activate the DVD

F / E button to move in submenus. Press
