Page 3 Wireless Dongle Kit configuration options: Some Wireless Dongle Kits will connect directly to an instrument using only the Adapter Set configuration, while other Wireless Dongle Kits will connect to an instrument using only the Extension Cable configuration. In some instances a Wireless Dongle Kit can connect to an instrument using either configuration.

Connecting AL500: (Continued from inside) AL500 w/ Adapter Set AL500 w/ Extension Cable Connecting to a computer: The Wireless Dongle can easily be connected to a Microsoft Windows ® ® computer using the Extension Cable configuration. You can plug the Serial Extension Cable directly into a computer’s serial port or you can plug the cable into a computer’s USB port using the provided Serial to USB Adapter.
