To enhance your system, you can connect optional components. Refer to the operating instructions
provided with each component.
From the audio output
jacks of the TV

A CD DIGITAL OUT jack
(For MHC-GNX100/GNX90/GNX88/
GNX80/GNX77/GNX70/GNX66/
GNX60)
Use a digital optical cord (square, not supplied)
to connect the digital input jack of the optional
MD deck to this jack. You can then record
digital audio from this system.
Notes
• There is no digital audio output from this jack during
playback of an MP3 audio track.
• (For MHC-GNX88/GNX77/GNX66)
If "MPX L" or "MPX R" is selected, the digital audio
output from this jack will become monaural.
