Using the Thermostat, FR-5
When the heating water temperature
mode is selected :
1. Press the "Heat Source" button. The indicator
light will go on.
2. Turn the temperature control to set the desired
Heating Water temperature.
3. The unit will now provide heating water at the set
temperature.
If you open a hot water faucet, it will automatically
change to Hot Water mode and stop heating the
home during this mode.
4. To stop the operation in this mode set the
temperature control below 104℉ (Rad). The unit
will stop but the freeze prevention function will
stand by.
Unoccupied (Energy Saving mode)
1. Press the "Away From Home Saving" button. The
room temperature will be indicated on the
temperature display.
2. Turn the timer to select the desired 'stop time'
intervals.
e.g.) Winter Season
Spring/Fall Season : 2 ~ 4hrs
▶The control is in increments of 10 minutes.
▶The temperature of the heating water is
automatically set at 176℉.
