(but smoke cannot be verified)

Possible Reasons
All 3- way valves were shortly
closed.
Fuse(s) of fan aggregate on
power supply module defect
Fan -x- defect
All 3- way valves in wrong
position.
Both fan aggregates are defect.
3- way valve in wrong position. Check position of 3- way
Detection line is clogged.
Defective fuse in device -x-.
Device address no. of device -x-
is not correctly adjusted.
Cable connection to device -x-
(RS-485-Bus) is incorrect
Device -x- is defective
Fuse in repeater panel is
defective.
Connection (RS-485-Bus) at
repeater panel is incorrect
Smoke detector with internal
residue.
Breakdown of ship emergency
power supply circuit on ship.
Breakdown of ship main power
supply circuit on ship.
Smoke detector -x- is not
installed.
Smoke detector is defective.
ID no. x is attached to more
than one smoke detector
After cleaning the smoke
detector, the labyrinth has not
been correctly reassembled.

Send compressed air through
detection line. Ensure all 3- way
valves are closed in way to
smoke detection panel during
this procedure
1. Eliminate fault
2. Exchange fuse
Adjust correct device address
no. (refer to section 6 )
Check cable connection
Replace device -x-
1. Eliminate fault
2. Exchange fuse
Check cable connections
Clean smoke detector
Re-establish circuit
Re-establish circuit
Insert smoke detector
Change smoke detector
Change ID nos. of smoke
detector to correct setting
( refer to 5.3.2 )
Ensure, that the snapping lugs
of the labyrinth are snapped
completely over the PCB
( refer to section 5.3.3 )
