    Setting up the oven for first-time use. When using the oven for the first time it should be should be heated to 230°C for about 30 minutes to burn off any oily residues left on during the manufacturing process which may contaminate foods with unpleasant smells. To help prevent excess condensation, cover food wherever possible and do not leave food inside the oven to keep warm after the end of the cooking programme.

While the cooking programme is running, you may touch the childlock key to briefly display the current time of day, and the temperature that the oven has currently reached, if required. Microwave & Grill function When the microwave + grill symbol is lit up on the left-hand-side of the display screen, the microwave power level and cooking duration time symbols will light up on the right-hand-side of the display screen to remind you to set these.

If you wish to cancel the automatic programme, simply touch and hold the power on key for at least one second. Pausing the cooking process You can pause the cooking at any time, for example to stir or turn the food.

    Replacing the lightbulb • Switch the appliance off and switch off the power supply at the wall. Wait a few minutes to allow time for the halogen bulb to cool down. • Place a towel on the floor of the oven cavity to protect the lamp cover from damage if it falls.
