About This Guide

This guide gives step-by-step instructions for
setting up your D-Link DES-1018P. Please
note that the model you have purchased may
appear slightly different from those shown in
the illustrations.
The D-Link DES-1018P is an unmanaged switch
capable of feeding power to Power over Ethernet
(PoE) devices such as network cameras. The
DES-1018P has 16 ports operating at 10/100
Mbps ports with 8 PoE ports (Ports 1 to 8). It
also has 2 10/100/1000BASE-T/SFP Combo
ports ideal for upgrading home and small office
networks with limited budgets.
