IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Before using the electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should always be followed:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label on the AC
adaptor supplied with the vacuum cleaner.
3. Do not operate the appliance if the cord of the charger is damaged or if the vacuum has
malfunctioned or been damaged in any way.
4. The vacuum cleaner can only be powered by the battery provided. Only use the provided charger to
recharge the vacuum cleaner. Do not use this charger with other appliance.
5. Do not let the cord of charger hang over the edge of a table, counter or hot surface.
6. Do not immerse charger or the body of the vacuum cleaner into water as this would increase the risk of
electric shock.
7. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or on a heated oven.
8. Make certain that the ventilation slits of the appliance are not covered so it does not block radiating
heat.
9. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
10. Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where
they may be present.
11. Lit cigarettes, matches, hot ash should not be sucked up by the vacuum cleaner.
12. The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injuries to persons.
13. The battery charger or vacuum cleaner must be disposed properly if it can no longer be used.
Never dispose into a fire as explosion may occur.
14. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
15. Do not operate the appliance for other than its intended use.
16. Do not use outdoors.
17. The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
18. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the qualified electrical person in order to
avoid a hazard or the product must be disposed.
19. This appliance incorporates batteries which contain materials that are hazardous to the
environment. The batteries must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped: unscrew
the screws on the bottom of handy unit, take the enclosure apart, remove wires from the batteries,
then dispose of the batteries safely.
20. The appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains when removing the batteries.
