TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
THERE IS A RATTLING NOISE
FROM THE REGULATOR AND
THERE IS NO STEAM ESCAPING.
STEAM ESCAPES FROM THE
SAFETY VALVE.
STEAM IS ESCAPING FROM ALL
DIRECTIONS.
THE PRESSURE COOKER IS TOO
SHORT OF LIQUIDS DURING USE.
SOLUTION
•
Install the REGULATOR correctly.
•
Remove any residue with a small pin (not
supplied).
•
Turn off the hob/stove and remove the
Pressure Cooker from the surface. Turn the
REGULATOR to the release position (
let any steam escape. Open the LID and check
the part is functioning properly.
•
The REGULATOR may be blocked. Remove
any residue with a small pin (not supplied).
•
The POT may have been overloaded with
ingredients. Decrease the amount of food
added and begin to reheat.
•
Reduce the heat of the stove/hob
•
Both REGULATOR and SAFETY VALVE may be
blocked. Remove any residue with a pin (not
supplied). Wash the REGULATOR if necessary
with warm soapy water.
•
Ensure the LID is shut correctly and the rubber
seal inside is securely positioned.
•
Remove the Pressure Cooker from the hob/
stove and allow any remaining pressure to
eject before removing the LID. Add more
liquid or stock above the minimum marker
which is located inside the POT.
