Error massage DESIGNER
Program start
Error: An older slw file was
opened with a new version of
Designer.
Solution: The old slw file has to
be converted in a new data format.
Error at projecting of the rack
Error: Field bus not at the first
slot.
Solution: Field bus has to placed
at slot 1.
Error: Delete modules with
existing virtual wires
Solution: At first delete the
virtual wires, than the mod-
ule.
Interface error
Error: There is no serial connec-
tion (V24) to SafeLine.
Solution: Please check the serial
interface (example: COM4) and
adjustments at Designer.
Error: Format error date
Solution: Date has to have the following format: dd.mm.yyyy
This adjustment must be done in the Windows system control
Wiring
Error: A second wire will be con-
nected to a wired virtual connection.
Solution: Only one wire for a
virtual connection. For more use OR
logic module.
Error: The virtual wiring procedure
(DMC) is broken.
Solution: Use the left mouse but-
ton once more and repeat the wir-
ing procedure.
Error: Module replacing
is not possible. The se-
lected module is dis-
placeable.
Solution: Please check
the slot number !
Error central module
Error: Changing the function
of a wired output
Solution: At first define the
function of the output.
Otherwise all virtual wires to
the logic modules must be
deleted.
Products: safety technology
Error: A field bus is exist-
ing and a central module
with an integrated field
bus is selected.
Solution: Please delete
the field bus, than select
a central module.
Error: The virtual Com Port
doesn't exist. (look at Windows
equipment manager)
Solution: Please check the serial
interface (example: COM4) and
adjustments at Designer.
Error: Changing from the module layer to
the wiring layer without a projected rack
Solution: At first please define the
modules in the module layer. At least a
central module must be selected.
Error: By using timers the time
is zero not acceptable.
Solution: Please define time
values from 1 to 9999.
Error: The inputs are used as a
safety circuit and it will be tried to
use them for a two-hand function.
Solution: Please decide for one of
these safety functions.
Error: Changing of the
logic module type after
wiring
Solution: At first select
the qualified logic mod-
ule type. Otherwise all
wires to the logic mod-
ules must be deleted.
