Connection Detection Connection Detection is a Weego-exclusive feature that helps the user make the best possible connection to the vehicle battery. A poor connection can cause a failed jump start, and therefore we aim to make the quality of the connection known so that the user can adjust the clamps to achieve maximum and optimal connections.
Getting Started REGISTER YOUR WEEGO Be sure to register your Crankenstein using the serial number located at the bottom of the unit and on the charging screen (the screen that appears when you’re charging your unit). 12V Mini Clamps Weego’s 12V Mini Clamps allow you to power your tools and devices through the 12V/20A CLA port located on the back of the Crankenstein unit. Check to make sure the device you’re connecting to will draw 20A of power or less; if not, Crankenstein will not operate. To use the Mini Clamps: 1.
Weego Temperature Ranges All lithium iron phosphate batteries have recommended temperature ranges for different scenarios - there’s one for using your product, one for recharging your product and one for storing your product. All should be adhered to ensure the safety, longevity and performance of your Crankenstein.
Read all instructions and warnings prior to using this product. Improper use of this product will void your warranty and may result in product damage, excess heat, toxic fumes, fire, and other unsafe situations for which Weego is not responsible.
Voltage Disparity Table Below is a guide to Crankenstein’s voltage limitations when the unit is in either 12V or 24V mode. The built-in volt meter will measure and display your vehicle’s battery voltage (VB) in the lower right corner of the OLED screen. If the battery voltage does not align with the chosen jump mode, you will receive a warning message (refer to the OLED Message Index on pages 12 - 16 for a list of warning messages).
OLED Message Index MODE SCREENS Mode Screen 1 This screen displays when the unit is in recharge mode. The battery indicator will display the progress of the recharge. Your unit’s serial number also displays during the recharge. Record your serial number here: ___________________ for when you register your product.

OLED Message Index MODE SCREENS CONTINUED Mode Screen 7 When this screen displays it means that Crankenstein has entered Hotfoot™ mode. Hotfoot enacts when you turn on Crankenstein and it senses that its internal batteries are between -5°F and -28°F. Crankenstein will warm itself up to -5°F, at which point you can effectively jump start.

OLED Message Index 12V WARNING SCREENS Warning When you select 12V jump mode, this screen will appear to confirm that the 12V jump mode was activated. Screen 1 Warning When you are in 12V jump mode and your vehicle’s battery voltage is measuring above 15V, this screen will appear.

OLED Message Index 24V WARNING SCREENS CONTINUED Warning When you are in 24V jump mode and your vehicle’s battery is measuring below 2V (even after Crankenstein has tried Screen 4 to “trickle charge”), this screen will appear. Your battery is unable to reach/hold 2V and you will be unable to jump.

OLED Message Index ADDITIONAL WARNING SCREENS CONTINUED Warning Crankenstein is equipped with temperature protection to ensure the safety of you and your product. If the temperature Screen 4 surpasses the allowable limit, this screen will appear. You will not be able to use the unit until this message disappears, indicating that the batteries have cooled to an acceptable temperature.
