This dancing bar applies tension to the media for a correct feeding. It is equipped with a set of weights to adjust the weight of the dancing bar depending on the characteristics of the media.

Recommended two people for this operation. Insert the pneumatic bar inside the media’s core. Then put back the pneumatic bar on the printer’s feeder unit.

AUTO mode basically turns off the heaters and the fume buster and lowers the up/down roller automatically after a certain adjustable time frame.

For the correct functioning of the fixation unit we recommend to leave the settings a shown in the image below.

By pressing the AUTO/MANUAL button is possible to switch between modes. The screen will look like the illustration below when switching to AUTO MODE.

Meaning the operator will need to remain always attentive and manually turn off the fume buster, the heater and lower the up/down roller after once the carriage have arrived at the home position and no jobs will be sent to the printer after a long time.

The nozzle check test print allows the user to check the current state of the nozzles in the print head. Helps to determine if the nozzles are firing as they should or not.

All the nozzles are firing correctly presenting no gaps in the test print. A certain number of nozzles are not firing independently from which row number they belong to.

Both front and rear dancing bars are equipped with a series of weights. Depending on the media’s characteristics it is needed to add or subtract weights to the dancing bar in order to add stability to the feeding and take-up systems.
