NightShot / NightShot Plus /
Super NightShot Plus
Find your subject and make movies in
complete darkness with Sony's
NightShot infrared technology.
Thanks to new NightShot Plus, in
semi-darkness you can even film in
colour.
PictBridge**
Connect your Handycam directly to a
PictBridge-compatible printer with
USB cable. Print photos without a
computer!
Primary Color Filter
For colour clarity rarely achieved in
camcorders, our special filter splits
incoming light into red, green and
blue – the same frequencies used to
reproduce colour on screens.
Program AE
Select a shooting mode to suit the
conditions. Your Handycam automati-
cally adjusts settings for 'Sunset and
Moon', 'Spotlight' and more.
Sharpness Adjust
Choose from 8 sharpness settings to
suit your subject – hard for the edges
of buildings or softer for gentle
human contours.
Signal Convert Function
Convert analogue footage or videos
to digital film and you can edit or
share them using a computer.
Smooth Interval Recording
Automatically stops and starts
recording at set intervals – for great
time-lapse footage, for example, of a
flower opening or the sun setting.
Time Code
Very useful for quick, precise editing
and searching. Sony MiniDV and
Digital 8 Handycams automatically
number and code each frame.
Touch Panel
Simply tap on the LCD display to
access the menu! You can even set
exposure and focus for the subject
you touch on the screen.
