Removing Drive/Live Centres To remove the Drive and Live Centres, locate the push rod (H), while holding the Live Centre insert the push rod through the centre hole of the ailstock wheel and push the Live Centre out, see fig 4. Repeat the procedure for the Drive Centre in the headstock. -
