MOTOSYNC with Exchange
ActiveSync
Use MOTOSYNC with Exchange
ActiveSync to synchronize your phone's
contacts, calendar, and email directly
with your corporate Microsoft Exchange
Server 2003. You can schedule when
synchronization occurs, and select the type
and amount of information that's
synchronized.
Find it: Press the Main Menu key > É Office Tools
> MOTOSYNC > Exchange ActiveSync
If no Exchange ActiveSync profile is stored on
your phone, the phone prompts you to create
a profile. Contact your IT system administrator
to obtain the information you need to set up a
profile.
Once you store a profile, you can start
synchronization. The first synchronization may
take several minutes depending on the
amount of data in your contacts list, calendar,
and email on the Exchange 2003 server.
Note: If your phone cannot connect to the
server, verify that your phone's network
service provider has data service activated on
your account (additional fees may apply for
this service).
