Service providers may charge differently depending on the message type. For details,
contact your service provider.
Read a message and reply
Important: Exercise caution when opening messages. Messages may contain
malicious software or otherwise be harmful to your device or PC.
Display the message — Select View.
Create an answer message — Select Reply.
Several messages received — Select Menu > Messaging and Inbox. Select a
message and Open.
Send and organise messages
To send a message, select Send.
Note: The message sent icon or text on your device screen does not indicate that
the message is received at the intended destination.
If message sending is interrupted, the device tries to resend the message a few times.
If these attempts fail, the message is marked as failed in the Sent items folder.
The device saves received messages in the Inbox folder. Organise your messages in the
Saved items folder.
To add, rename, or delete a folder, select Menu > Messaging and More > Archive >
Options.
Nokia Xpress audio messages
Create and send audio messages using MMS in a convenient way.
1. Select Menu > Messaging.
2. Select More > Other messages > Audio message. The voice recorder opens.

Message settings
Select Menu > Messaging and Msg. settings.
Select from the following:
● General settings — Save copies of sent messages in your device, overwrite old
messages if the message memory becomes full, switch between the Conversations
and Inbox views, and set up other preferences related to messages.
