1. Product overview The WALRUS is the outdoor gateway(should with box protection) Gateway with professional specifications quipment with 2 receiving channels. Several thousands end nodes around gateway can communication. And gateway with a sensitivity of -138 dBm and a maximum power of 500 mW you can easily reach the most distant nodes. -

3. Key feature 3.1 Distance Maximum connection distance is ~10km in open terrain, buildings and metal structures do hinder the transmission. Experience learns that distances of 3-5km are realistic if the gateway is mounted on a (high) point with free sight. 3.2 Nodes handle 10-20 thousand is a theoretical maximum, under the assumption that nodes only send once per hour. -
