*NOTE: The IDEAL ILFE Gluco-Manager™ is intended for
use in the quantitative measurement of glucose in fresh
capillary whole blood from the finger and the following
alternative sites: the palm, the forearm, the upper-arm,
the calf and the thigh. It is intended for use by adults with
diabetes mellitus in a non-clinical environment such as in
the home, as an aid to monitoring the effectiveness of a
diabetes control program. It is not intended for the
diagnosis of, or screening for, diabetes mellitus and not
intended for use on neonates. The alternative site testing can be
used only during steady-state blood glucose conditions.

Ideal Blood Gluco Manual 9/24/07 12:25 PM Page 19 Installation • Store the control solution tightly closed at temperature below 30°C (86°F) and do not refrigerate. NOTE! The control solution range printed on the test strip vial is for appropriately branded control solution only. It is used to test meter and test strip performance. - Page 20 IF you continue to get out of range results, it means that the system may not be working properly. Do NOT test your blood. Replace your batteries immediately. In the upper right corner of the display you will find an icon representing a reception/transmission meter. This icon represents connectivity to an IDEAL LIFE Pod™. NOTE: The reception/transmission icon will not be displayed if TRANSMISSION is turned off (see TRANSMISSION section below for details). -

When you want to obtain blood from sites except the finger, replace the clear cap instead of the lancing device cap.

First you must ensure that IDEAL LIFE™ has the details of your Bluetooth® enabled cellular phone or device. Please call IDEAL LIFE directly to ensure that your details are up to date.
