1) When the salt and/or rinse aid containers are empty, the related indicator lights do not come on while a washing
programme operates.
PROGRAMME GUIDE
This guide helps you in the selection of the
washing programme.
PROGRAMME KNOB
With the programme knob you can:
• Activate and deactivate the appliance
• Set a washing programme
• Adjust electronically the level of the water
softener (refer to 'Setting the water soft-
ener')
• Activate or deactivate the rinse aid dis-
penser (only with the multitab function
on).
To activate the appliance and set a
washing programme
Turn the programme knob until the pro-
gramme marker is aligned with one of the
washing programmes on the control panel.
Indicator lights
It comes on when the washing phase or the rinsing phase operates.
It comes on when the drying phase operates.
It comes on when you activate the multitab function. Refer to 'Multitab
function'.
It comes on when it is necessary to fill the salt container. Refer to 'Use
of dishwasher salt'.
After you fill the container, the salt indicator light can stay on for some
hours. This does not have an unwanted effect on the operation of the
appliance.
It comes on when it is necessary to fill the rinse aid container. Refer to
'Use of detergent and rinse aid'.
• If the programme marker is aligned with a
washing programme, the digital display
shows the programme time.
• If the programme marker is not aligned
with a washing programme, the display
shows two horizontal status bar.
To deactivate the appliance
Turn the programme knob until the pro-
gramme marker is aligned with the off posi-
tion.
START/CANCEL BUTTON
Use the start/cancel button for these opera-
tions:
• To start the washing programme. Refer
to 'Setting and starting a washing pro-
gramme'.
• To cancel a washing programme in pro-
gress. Refer to ''Setting and starting a
washing programme'.
