Chain Selection THE MAXWELL WINDLASSES ARE DESIGNED FOR ALL CHAIN SYSTEMS USING: 6-10mm (1/4” – 3/8”) short link Your Windlass should have a rating of approximately 3 times total combined weight of the anchor and chain.
