USIM Card

Universal Subscriber Identity Module (USIM) Card is an IC
card containing customer and authentication information,
including handset number, and limited Phone Book entry
and SMS message storage. USIM must be inserted to use
810P or Network services (calling, messaging, Web, etc.).
Turn handset off before inserting/removing USIM Card.
Inserting/Removing
! Remove battery (ZP.19-18) then follow steps below.

Press on Holder lightly, slide and lift it as shown

Insert USIM Card into Holder as shown

! To remove USIM Card, grasp top portion (without
touching the IC) and pull gently.

Notch
Replace Holder and slide it in as shown
! If 810P is dropped/subjected to shock,
may appear; 810P returns to
USIM Please wait
Standby. This is not malfunction.
! If
appears, clean and properly reinsert
Insert USIM
USIM Card then restart 810P.
! Do not force USIM Card into or out of 810P as it may
damage handset/USIM Card.
! Be careful not to lose the removed USIM Card.
! Avoid touching USIM Card terminals or IC chip;
doing so may hinder performance.
! If USIM Card/810P (USIM Card inserted) is lost/
stolen, contact SoftBank Customer Center (ZP.19-
50) immediately to prevent misuse.
! Some downloaded files may be inaccessible after
repairs, USIM Card replacement or handset upgrade/
replacement.
! USIM Card specifications/performance may change
without prior notice.
! Pre-installed S! Applications (BookSurfing, Near
Chat, etc.) may be unusable while a different or
replacement USIM Card is inserted into 810P.
! Be careful when handling USIM Card Holder. Sharp
edges on metallic holder may cause injury.
