Possible causes
Dual overpressure gauge damaged
Suction or pressure valves leak, clear-
ance between piston and cylinder too
great
Pressure regulator does not shut off or
shuts off too early
Charging current control lamp damaged
Lines loose or damaged
Regulator damaged
Battery discharged
V-belt of alternator loose
Regulator damaged
Line between charging current warning
light and alternator is grounded
Alternator or diodes damaged by loose
contacts or wrong contact of electrical
lines to line connections
Remedies
During full brake application with the
vehicle stopped both needles must be
in alignment, if not replace indicatOr
Have air compressor reconditioned
or
replaced
Adjust overpressure, clean pressure re-
gulator if required, replace seal, have
pressure regulator replaced if required
Replace control lamp
Tighten or replace
Have regulator renewed
Check electrolyte level, charge
Check V-belt tension and tighten if
required
Check, have replaced
Look for chafed spot, replace line
Check, have reconditioned or replaced
