GENERAL:

The Triax 2010 User Manual document details the Triax 2010 Verification Procedure in Appendix A.
When using the spherical head form the verification procedure is still required, and a special fixture is
provided with each spherical head form system to assist in establishing the head form height above the
reference mat.

When using the spherical head form the verification procedure is still required, and a special fixture is provided with each spherical head form system to assist in establishing the head form height above the reference mat.
  • Page 2 This fixture consists of a quick release mechanism with a hook to allow the mechanism to be suspended from a suitable structure, such as a Triax system tripod. Also included are two wire rope lanyards connected by a metal ring.
  • Page 3 To perform the verification test, the quick release mechanism is securely suspended, using a suitable cable or other means, from a structure sufficient to hold the weight of the head form. The loops at the free end of the lanyards are threaded through the eye hooks of the head form, and the metal ring which connects the lanyards is clipped into the quick release mechanism.
