2.4.3 LOGICAL DISK OPERATIONS

Use this panel to create, delete, rebuild, or modify logical arrays (or independent volumes). The default view is shown below.
CREATE ARRAY
Click the Create Array link in the sidebar when you need to build an array from two or more available disks.
strongly recommended that you back up any important data from the available disks before you begin this process.
ARRAY TYPE – the options are JBOD and RAID 0, 1, 5, 1/0 (also called RAID 10), and 5/0 (also called RAID 50). See Section 2.1
for more information about each RAID type. NOTE: the RAID mode you choose will determine which settings are available.
ARRAY NAME – use this text field to name the new array.
