Update Interval
The XW110 normally operates in a low power sleep mode and is programmed to periodically awaken
and measure the temperature. This setting selects how often this occurs. When operating from a DC
wall power supply this setting can be set to most any value. Realize that every measurement requires
energy from the battery. To obtain the best battery life set the update for as long as possible for your
application. For example, when monitoring the temperature of a freezer use 15 minutes or so, for
outdoor temperature which changes slowly use a longer interval such as 30 minutes.
