3. Buckle the Vehicle Lap/Shoulder Seat Belt
Be sure the lap portion of the vehicle seat belt goes
through both seat belt guides and the shoulder belt goes
through the seat belt guide on the buckle side.
Be sure the lap portion of the vehicle seat belt lies low
across your child's hips.
Be sure the shoulder belt lies across your child's shoulder,
between the neck and edge of shoulder.
You may need to use the belt positioning clip to help get a
good fit. See "Using Belt Positioning Clip" (page 48).
