IR LEARNING
IR Learning enables any non-NAD remote control learn AMP and BluOS
basic remote control codes. With the learned codes, the configured non-
NAD remote control can be used to command or operate the C 658.
HOW TO LEARN REMOTE CONTROL CODES
1 While at "IR Learning" menu, press [f] and then [a/s] to select either
"Amp" or "BluOS".
2 While at "Amp" option, press [f] to select "Amp".
3 Press [f] and then [a/s] to select through AMP remote control
command options.
4 Press [ENTER] to select "Cursor Down".
5 Direct or point the non-NAD remote control to the IR sensor in the
front panel. Then, press desired button on the non-NAD remote control
where CURSOR DOWN will be learned. Upon pressing the designated
button, display will turn to below.
6 "CURSOR DOWN" is now learned into the designated button of the
non-NAD remote control. Repeat the same for the other remote control
commands to be learned. The same procedure applies for BluOS
learning.
DIMMER
DIMMER function makes it possible to adjust the brightness level of the
front panel display.
Bright: Display is at its brightest level or above normal brightness level.
Normal: Display brightness level is normal.
Dimmed: Display is dimmed or below normal brightness level.
TEMPORARY DISPLAY
Temporary Display feature enables the display to be turned off temporarily
after 10 seconds of non-user interface.
On: Display is turned off temporarily after 10 seconds of non- user
interface. The Standby LED is also turned off at the same time. Display
and Standby LED are activated once user interface is initiated.
Off: Display remains illuminated.
VOLUME DISPLAY MODE
Volume Display Mode gives the user two options on how to display
Volume level. Use a or s to select between "Decibel" and "Percent" Volume
level display mode.
