    Vertical lift V1001 Description of the product Adequate use The vertical lift is used inside in industrial areas to lift and lower mobile goods, mainly to load and unload shelves or vehicles. It can only be used in connection with a carrier device (Cargo Master C-Sys- tem, AMEISE trolley, Expresso dolliers or Sano stair climbers).

    Vertical lift V1001 Removing the vertical lift 1. Stand behind the carrier device and loosen the locking bolts at the two up- per handles by pulling and turning them. Now the handles are unlocked. 2. Hoist the vertical lift at its two bars until the handles are lifted out of the carrier device’s horizontal bar.

    Vertical lift V1001 Battery charge: The vertical lift should only be operated with fully charged batteries. The diode on the battery display shows the capacity left on the battery. If the battery is empty, the LED is red. If the battery is fully charged, the LED is green.

    Vertical lift V1001 Operation Maximum load Please make sure that you never exceed the indicated load of 100 kg. Lead batteries Please fully charge the batteries before you use the device for the first time (for detailed information see chapter 6.2).

  • Page 22: Sealed Lead Acid Batteries

    Should your fully charged batteries deplete faster than usual, they are proba- bly exhausted. In such case you need to have them checked and replaced, if necessary. Exhausted batteries can be recycled properly at the appropriate collection places. It is also possible to give them back to AAT Alber Antriebstechnik GmbH.

    Recycling Your vertical lift and its lead batteries are products of long durability. Once their life-span is exhausted, you can turn in the components to AAT Alber Antriebstechnik GmbH for recycling. The law for electronics (ElektroG) handling the taking back and recycling of old electrical and electronic devices has come into effect March 3 , 2005.

    AAT Alber Antriebstechnik GmbH assumes a warranty of 6 months from the date of purchase for the lead batteries; however, always provided that they have been properly maintained.
