Conditions
1. Theoriginalinvoiceorsalesreceipt(showingdateofpurchase,productcodeanddealer'sname)MUSTaccompanythedefectiveproduct,alongwitha
statementdetailingthefault.Intheabsenceofthisclearproofofpurchase,Yamahareservestherighttorefusetoprovidefreeofchargeserviceandthe
productmaybereturnedatthecustomer'sexpense.
2. TheproductMUSThavebeenpurchasedfromanAUTHORISEDYamahadealerwithintheEuropeanEconomicArea(EEA)orSwitzerland.
3. Theproductmustnothavebeenthesubjectofanymodificationsoralterations,unlessauthorisedinwritingbyYamaha.
4. Thefollowingareexcludedfromthisguarantee:
a. Periodicmaintenanceandrepairorreplacementofpartsduetonormalwearandtear.
b. Damageresultingfrom:
(1) Repairsperformedbythecustomerhimselforbyanunauthorisedthirdparty.
(2) Inadequatepackagingormishandling,whentheproductisintransitfromthecustomer.Pleasenotethatitisthecustomer'sresponsibilitytoensure
theproductisadequatelypackagedwhenreturningtheproductforrepair.
(3) Misuse,includingbutnotlimitedto(a)failuretousetheproductforitsnormalpurposeorinaccordancewithYamaha'sinstructionsontheproper
use,maintenanceandstorage,and(b)installationoruseoftheproductinamannerinconsistentwiththetechnicalorsafetystandardsinforcein
thecountrywhereitisused.
(4) Accidents,lightning,water,fire,improperventilation,batteryleakageoranycausebeyondYamaha'scontrol.
(5) Defectsofthesystemintowhichthisproductisincorporatedand/orincompatibilitywiththirdpartyproducts.
(6) UseofaproductimportedintotheEEAand/orSwitzerland,notbyYamaha,wherethatproductdoesnotconformtothetechnicalorsafety
standardsofthecountryofuseand/ortothestandardspecificationofaproductsoldbyYamahaintheEEAand/orSwitzerland.
(7) NonAV(AudioVisual)relatedproducts.

5. Wheretheguaranteediffersbetweenthecountryofpurchaseandthecountryofuseoftheproduct,theguaranteeofthecountryofuseshallapply.
6. Yamahamaynotbeheldresponsibleforanylossesordamages,whetherdirect,consequentialorotherwise,savefortherepairorreplacementofthe
product.
7. Pleasebackupanycustomsettingsordata,asYamahamaynotbeheldresponsibleforanyalterationorlosstosuchsettingsordata.
8. Thisguaranteedoesnotaffecttheconsumer'sstatutoryrightsunderapplicablenationallawsinforceortheconsumer'srightsagainstthedealerarising
fromtheirsales/purchasecontract.
