1 GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION AND PRECAUTIONS As soon as you open the packaging, Before beginning installation work on check immediately that the contents are roofs, install the necessary fall prevention all present and undamaged. Contact the and fall arrest devices and ensure that all reseller from whom you purchased the applicable safety standards are applied.
2 DESCRIPTION OF ThE SOLAR COLLECTOR DESCRIPTION These panel type solar collectors have two second group of 6 pipes to the top manifold water fittings and consist of an aluminium again. This effectively doubles the thermal structure with a single-piece copper absor- length of the collector.
Design Collector Collector outlet return Collector probe socket Direction of flow of heat transfer liquid Glass 3,2 mm Connection ring nut, 1" Connector Ø 22 mm.
Technical specifications DESCRIPTION Total area 2,43 Exposed area 2,20 Effective absorption area 2,15 Connections (M) - (F) 1" Ø Empty weight Liquid content Recommended flow rate per m of panel Glass thickness Absorption (α) ~ 95 Emissions (ε) Maximum permitted pressure Maximum temperature °C Maximum number of collectors connectable in series...
Collectors connection The diagram below illustrates the connections between solar collectors in lines. The collectors in a line are connected so that the heat transfer fluid goes through them in series. The connection with the heat transfer circuit that goes toward the heat exchanger must be the one near the sensor pocket of the last collector of the line (see the picture above).
Water circuit The diagram below illustrates the water connections between solar collectors and a storage heater. 1 - Solar collector 2 - Storage heater 3 - Collector probe 4 - Disconnect valves 5 - Non-return valve 6 - Temperature gauge 7 - Vent valve 8 - Safety valve °C...
Location of probes The temperature sensor must be installed in the nearest socket to the collector outlet. Make sure that the sensor makes good contact with the socket. Materials (sensor, cables, seals and insulation) used to install the temperature sensor must be able to withstand high temperatures (up to 250°C). SOLAR REGULATOR °C...
3 FOR ThE INSTALLER Unpacking the collector The solar collectors are packed in various ways depending on the number of units supplied: A - Individually packaged collectors or Case A packages of 2 collectors Pallet contents: - collector/s - Documentation envelope containing: - certificate of warranty and label with bar code.
Dimensions and weight 1221 1186 Net weight handling the collector Once you have removed the outer packag- ing, proceed as follows to unpack and handle the solar collector: - Remove the PVC wrapping to free the solar collector from the pallet. - Tilt the solar collector slightly and grip it at the four points shown (A) to lift it.
