Installing necmemras

This section describes how to install, uninstall or upgrade necmemras command.
3.1
Installing necmemras
1.
Login to the target machine as a root user.
2.
Copy the file mcl-necmemras-X.X-Y.Y.???.x86_64.rpm to desired directory in target machine.
(X.X-Y.Y represents revision number, and ??? represents OS type.)
3.
Install necmemras package by running rpm command. If RPM file is copied in /tmp in Step 2, run
the command as follows.
#rpm -ivh /tmp/mcl-necmemras-X.X-Y.Y.???.x86_64.rpm
4.
Run the following command to check if necmemras package is installed correctly.
#rpm -qa | grep necmemras
If mcl-necmemras-X.X-Y.Y.???.x86_64.rpm you have installed in Step 3 is displayed, the package
is installed correctly.
Installation of package may not complete if the following message is displayed. Repeat from Step
3 according to "Solution".

necmemras is installed in /opt/nec/necmemras.
3.2

Uninstalling necmemras

Login the machine to uninstall necmemras with the user having administrative privilege (Administrator)
and perform the following.
Important
1.
Login to the target machine as a root user.
package mcl-necmemras-X.XY.Y.???.x86_64 is already installed
Uninstall necmemras, and install it again.
error: unpacking of archive failed
on file: cpio: write failed - No space left on device
Disk space is insufficient. Increase free space, and install it again.
Configuration by necmemras command is preserved after
uninstallation.
