10. Attach zinc block to main shaft.
The zinc block must be replaced yearly.
The junction between the transducer and
main shaft may corrode, which can result
in loss of the transducer or water leakage
inside the ship.
11. Fasten the hull unit to the retraction tank.

Orient round end to
tank guide side.
Orient the raise/lower drive as
shown above to reduce shock and
vibration (caused by pitching and
rolling) at the assembly.

the tank guide.
