Installing the APPWT key

To install an APPWT key, use the auth -a key command from the RMC.
For example:
rmc> auth -a RT9XMDL7 B7SUBXTS 4A77T7LP PPU7S77

NOTE: The RMC date and time must be correct and must be set to UTC.

Possible APPWT errors

•
A Checksum failure error indicates that you are trying to use an APPWT key
for the wrong type of system.
• A CLOCK ERROR!!! error indicates that the clock setting on the RMC could be incorrect.
• A Checksum failure, invalid key, or Authentication has expired error indicates that the
key has expired.
