The Intelligent Viewfinder II on the EOS 7D
Mark II is an intelligent viewfinder capable of
displaying a rich variety of information in an
easy to view format. Especially useful items that
can be displayed in the viewfinder are the
electronic level and function setting information
(can be shown or hidden according to settings).

This is effective when shooting continuously using a high shutter speed

due to flicker effects was
avoided when shooting.
Photos taken without the

function result in uneven
exposure when using
continuous shooting.

When this function is used,

to reduce the ef fe c t of
flickering on the exposure
and color balance.
When shooting under fluorescent lighting with
a fast shutter speed, flickering can result in
uneven exposure at the top and bottom of the
screen, and produce uneven exposure levels.
Although adverse effects from flickering is due
to a tiny difference in shooting timing, with
Anti-flicker shooting, the camera detects the
frequency of the light source's blinking and
