ChapterⅠ Product description 1.1 Synopsis The present specification defines the technical characteristics of the UPS, a device which supplies clean and stable energy to the connected load. In case of mains failure, the UPS can supply power from battery. The combination of isolated transformer, the high frequency double-converter structure and advanced DSP control makes the UPS completely immune to the disturbances of mains input and provide high-quality sine wave power.

5.3.1 Turn on UPS Use “UP” key or “DOWN” key to choose “turn on UPS” submenu and press “ENTER” key to execute it, LCD will display “UPS is starting” (Figure 5-14); If UPS is successfully started, LCD displays “output status” page. At present, UPS is working in line mode or battery mode, output parameters are displayed in the LCD.

5.4.3 Battery setup Battery setup consists of 2 sub functions: 1) 【 Battery number 】 : The default battery number is 32. However, chances are that customer need decrease battery. Use this function to set battery number to 30 or 31, the UPS will automatically adjust float charging voltage.

Chapter VI Operate and maintenance guide This chapter describes UPS normal operation and routine maintenance; Before UPS any internal operation, switch off main breaker Q1, bypass breaker Q2, battery breaker B1 and wait for 5 minutes to make the capacitors discharge to safe voltage.
6.1.6 Failure review The series UPS has self-diagnosis capability; you can check the fault type in the front LCD or by software. Low battery voltage shutdown UPS will shut down for low battery voltage in battery mode. It will automatically be turned on if the AC input recovers.
